Yoga for Men…
Men’s Yoga: Borrowing from a well known hatha sequence, the repetition of a consistent series allows the beginning student to become comfortable in their practice. Light, loose and focused, connecting breath with movement. You’ll get a work out, but won’t be limping a day later.
Thursdays | 5:30-6:30pm | Willamette Wellness Center | Ongoing |
Chair Yoga for Men: Also featuring a consistent series of postures and breathing exercises, but more accommodating. We use a chair for many postures and focus on relaxation and comfort in the body. Good for seniors, those recovering from an injury or guys with a little extra in the middle.
Sundays | 7:00-8:00am | Willamette Wellness Center | Ongoing |
Classes for Kids…
Improv Yoga: Not quite PE and not quite acting, Andre starts with movement and breathing exercises and uses Improv exercises to help children discover Yoga; mental and physical stillness, self awareness in a playful social setting.
Special Needs Yoga: Similar in approach to Improv Yoga, but geared towards children with lagging or lacking skills. The class incorporates roll playing and Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS). Classes can be crafted based on what the child or family needs.
Not sure what the like button is connected to. The popup box that comes up does not say anything about facebook.
I think it’s a specific page like, ie: just on this site. I just liked my own page to see what it would do, and there’s my mug. Thanks for poking around, Keith.
